Banan – From Food Truck to Store

I was just driving home today after picking up my daughter from school and noticed a new store coming to the location used to be occupied by Yogurtland on University Avenue.

I was surprised to see "BANAN" (sorry, don't know how to put the wiggle thing over the a) written on the store window.

"Wow, they must be doing really well" was my thought.

I can still remember the yummy frozen treat I had last year after hiking the Diamond Head. I remember I had a green banan treat "Stairway to Heaven". It was so delicious.

I'm not a big banana fan. In fact, I don't even eat banana, but this frozen banana treat does not even taste like banana.

Anyway, I just want to share this success story about these young entrepreneurs, who started out with a food truck on Monsarrat Avenue. It always feels good to see young people to achieve such success at an early age.

Congratulations!

Check out their awesome menu full of local produce. And don't forget to visit them at their truck on Monsarrat Avenue and the new location at University Avenue.

I think I'm going their tonight for my after dinner dessert after writing about how good Banan is.
