Peter and the Starcatcher at Manoa Valley Theater

Last night I went to see Peter and the Starcatcher at the Manoa Valley Theater. It was the first time I visit Manoa Valley Theater. Of course, this is a small production, but I'm impressed with the show.

My daughter and I both enjoyed it. The show was funny. It reminded me of the Pirate of Penance featuring Frank DeLima that I saw many years ago at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

Peter and the Starcatcher took place in many years ago, but they pitch in modern days' elements for humor. I think the show is very creative, and you need some imagination to follow the acting.

Don't expect elaborate decoration or special effects though. Otherwise, it's a perfect show for the family and a great way to spend a Saturday night. Although most of the audience are adults.
